Kim has lived a life exploring a range of creative pursuits. She first discovered jewellery making whilst studying Theatre and Media at the School of Creative Arts at Wollongong University in the 1980’s. After working in theatre and film production and undertaking further studies in colour and design she has had the opportunity to explore and pursue her passion for jewellery design and making.
Kim has undertaken informal training and has “let the metal guide her,” experimenting with designs that are influenced by a Scandinavian aesthetic. Working predominantly with precious metal she now produces one-off commission pieces and a small range in a Sydney design store. In 2017 Kim became director of SquarePeg Studios.
